Leader - Judy Hess

I share with you one of the most privileged moments
of my life, on April 29, 2006 at the California Democratic
Party Convention.

About Judy:

In 2004, I learned about the Project For The New American Century,
and in May of 2005, I learned of the Downing Street Memos. I wrote
four informal research papers on the Project and some of its members,
and in July 2005, I went to a Downing Street Party.   There I met Barbara
Cummings, who told me about the march in Washington DC Sept. 24.
I immediately booked my flight and room. On Sunday, Sept. 25, I
attended the PDA events in grassroots training and immediately knew
I'd found a home for my ideals and concerns.

PDA has the vision and the energy to change our country and its war
policies, and make it safer and healthier for all.. I came home energized
and prepared to do whatever was necessary to help our country. I resolved
to form a PDA Chapter in San Diego and learned we already had one,
founded by Jeeni Criscenzo! But it was temporarily dormant, Jeeni having
resigned its presidency to run for the House. With the help of our board,
we reconstituted it and hit the ground running.

Now we have formed the PDA Metro San Diego Chapter, the third PDA
chapter in San Diego County. We are also considering merging with our
local DFA Meetup to merge the best of both organizations. I have promised
our members that this will be a chapter of action. Join us and get active. =
