          Voting Machines “Sleep Overs” A Danger to Democracy

              The practice of sending easily “hackable” Diebold TSx and Optical Scanner voting machines home with poll workers must be challenged.   This challenge is now being waged in San Diego County. A full hand count of the Busby/Bilbray special Congressional Election has been requested, but court action may be necessary. There  will be substantial expenses involved.

           THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS HAS QUOTED AN EXORBITANT $6,000 PER DAY FOR THE HAND COUNT. THE QUOTED TOTAL COST FOR HAND COUNTING 158,000 VOTES IS
